WINNILAX BOYS CAMP - Camp Arrival & Pick Up

LOCK IN THE EARLY BIRD RATE BEFORE DECEMBER 15th!

We know that the first day of camp is a big moment filled with excitement and anticipation, and we’re here to make sure everything goes smoothly for you and your camper. With that in mind, we’ve thoughtfully designed an arrival process that helps set a relaxed, stress-free tone from the very beginning.

Please take a moment to review this information so you’re all set for a wonderful start on Friday, August 21st, when camper check-in begins at 1:00 PM. Families should plan to return for pick up between 1:30 PM and 1:45 PM on Tuesday, August 25th.

Our closing ceremony will begin at 2:00 PM and will be a heartwarming end to a memorable camp session. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out we’re here to support you throughout your WINNILAX Camp experience!

Please plan to stop for a meal or bring lunch with you so your camper is fully fueled upon arrival. After completing the check-in process, setting up their bunks, and taking part in our welcome & play evaluation, campers will enjoy their first delicious camp dinner at 5:00 PM.

FRIDAY CAMP ARRIVAL | August 21st @ 1:00 PM

Upon arriving, drive directly under the sign and continue straight down the main entry road. Follow the signage to the designated parking area. From there, walk towards the lake with your equipment bag, stick, and personal luggage for the week. You’ll find our Camper/Family Check-In tables to begin your official arrival and camper drop off process.

SNACK SHACK STEP 2 A

Families wishing to select a WINNILAX Snack Shack option for their camper can complete payment using cash or check.

WINNILAX GEAR PURCHASES STEP 2 B

Pick up and pay for your PRE-ORDERED WINNILAX merchandise at the Check In table. Bring cash or check for payment—please note that all pre-orders are final. While supplies last, a limited inventory of WINNIBRAND™ gear items will also be available for purchase at the Gear Table!

NURSE CHECK IN & MED DROP OFF STEP 3

Families, if applicable, please be prepared to provide your camper's packaged and labeled medication, along with any relevant care notes to review with our Registered Nurse. If you have specified in the Medical Form and have established communication via Email communications that your camper has additional dietary needs, kindly confirm this then with our nurse. If part of their care plan, please have a cooler or tote with the necessary food items ready for storage before cabin setup.

WINNILAX CRUISER TO ISLAND STEP 4

Families & Campers gather your luggage items and wait at the dock to take the boat together over to the Island.

Returning Campers and/or those with Camp Experience are welcome to say their family good byes at the mainland dock & head over to the island independently.

CABIN ASSIGNMENT LISTS STEP 5

Upon arriving to the Island, Campers & Families check the Cabin Assignment Board (Lists). Head to your cabin, meet your counselors, and get set up together. Once you are settled in get ready to play & take a family cabin photo.

MOVE IN & SET UP STEP 5

After campers and families arrive on the island they will refer to the Cabin Assignment Board (Lists). Families are welcome to accompany their camper to their cabin, help make the bed, meet their cabin counselor(s), and get settled in together. Once settled, be sure to get your equipment, cleats and jersey on because we will be headed out to fields for our camp welcome and player evaluation scrimmages once everyone has arrived! Take a moment to snap a few family photos at the cabin or by the lake as you begin saying your goodbyes for the week.

ISLAND MESS HALL STEP 6

Once your cabin is set up and you are suited up to play, grab your stick and water bottle and head over to the Mess Hall with your family to fill up your water bottle and maybe snap a family photo by the lake.

Gluten Free & Specialty Diet SPECIAL NOTE

If your camper has specifed a dietary need with us and you have confirmed that you will be bringing specialty food items to camp, as options to eat beyond our gluten free menu options, please confirm with us via email so that we may plan to help store your cooler / items in the Island Mess Hall Refridgerator & Infirmary after cabin set up.

FAMILY GOODBYES & DEPARTURE STEP 7

Families will say their camper goodbyes for the week and get ready to head back to mainland on cruiser.

WINNILAX CRUISER TO MAINLAND STEP 8

Families will take the cruiser back to their cars on the mainland to depart camp until returning on Tuesday by 1:45 PM for closing ceremony & final departure.

TUESDAY CLOSING CEREMONY & PICK UP | August 25th @ 1:45 PM

Families plan your travel to arrive back at camp between 1:30-1:45 PM. Park in the same lot as first day. Meet at the mainland Baseball Field (if its raining go to the Mainland Sports Center). The Closing Ceremony begins promptly @ 2:OO PM; upon conclusion, campers will be dismissed to their families and any additional medications will be returned directly to guardians at the Nurse's table. Camper Luggage & Equipment will be ready, organized & labeled either directly with your camper or on the basketball courts for loading and departure, marking the conclusion of an incredible week of WINNILAX BOYS CAMP!

Gluten Free & Specialty Diet SPECIAL NOTE

If you have specified in your Reservation Confirmation - Medical Form & established communication via Email that you are planning to bring a labeled cooler or tote of specialty food items to camp as options to eat beyond our gluten free menu items, please plan on reviewing this with the Nurse Check In Table STEP 1 B and bringing it with you to the island for storage in the Mess Hall Refrigerator &/or Infirmary during your move in process. These will also be ready for return at the Nurse's table at the conclusion of the Closing Ceremony. ********
