You’re in exactly the right place to make the last days of summer not just unforgettable, but truly impactful for your son by giving him the opportunity to become an important part of the WINNIPESAUKEE BOYS LACROSSE CAMP tradition! From August 24th–28th, give him the ultimate end to summer—a transformative island lacrosse experience that builds confidence, sparks growth, and sets him up for success in both his school year and the seasons ahead. This isn’t just a camp—it’s an opportunity to close out the summer with purpose, momentum, and the skills that will propel him toward his goals and an exciting future. As one of our amazing campers, he’ll develop his lacrosse skills, charge his love for the game, and grow as a student-athlete, all while establishing a foundation of routine, respite, and fun that will fuel his success both on the field and in the classroom throughout the upcoming school year. 

Welcome to WINNILAX BOYS CAMP, where the focus is on having fun at camp, building friendships, making memories, developing as a well rounded student-athlete, playing incredible lacrosse, and simply enjoying being a kid. Each day at camp begins with stepping out of your cabin to take in the breathtaking 360-degree island views of Lake Winnipesaukee. After a nutritious breakfast with cabin mates and camp staff, campers will throw on their reversible jerseys, cleats, put on their equipment, grab their sticks and water bottles, meet at the fire circle, and head out to our island fields for the camp stretch and morning team-building warm-up activity. This warm-up provides an opportunity for everyone—including our amazing staff, who share a lifelong love for lacrosse—to get to know each other. Once everyone is energized, we head to our assigned fields, located right on our island camp, to begin the day’s lacrosse skill training theme and fun skills competitions.

We love goaltenders and welcome them with open arms! If you're serious about netminding, please register as a full-time goalie and make a lasting impact on camp while honing your skills in a fun, supportive environment. We not only actively involve our goalies in all aspects of training and game play, but we also offer specific training sessions for them on selected days during our morning training sessions.

After the morning training session and skills competitions, campers will put their equipment away, return to their cabins to hydrate, change into swimsuits, and enjoy free time playing recreational camp, sports and lawn games. With our licensed lifeguards at their posts, we’ll make the exciting announcement that the waterfront is officially open! This is where the magic of summer camp comes to life at WINNIPESAUKEE BOYS LACROSSE CAMP! Campers can swim, hang out with friends, throw a frisbee, play Spikeball, KanJam, and ping pong, have a lacrosse catch, use the bounce back, play soccer or toss a football, relax in the Adirondack chairs, or simply soak in the camp experience on the waterfront green. Most importantly, campers are unplugged from technology, fully present, and making the most of every moment!

From there, campers will head to the picturesque dining hall for a delicious lunch. (Check out our CAMP MENU!) By this point, everyone needs to recharge, so it’s off to the cabins for a little rest and relaxation. This is a great time for campers to build lifelong friendships and bond with their Cabin Counselors—dedicated role models who share a passion for lacrosse and a genuine love for mentoring kids.

Once everyone is refreshed, it’s time to get suited up in their lacrosse gear and head to the assigned fields for team practices. In our two divisions—the younger Collegiate Division and the Older/Advanced Division—campers are organized into teams that compete in our evening tournament sixes games for a chance to be crowned WINNILAX Island Tournament Champions at the end of the week! During the afternoon session, the boys train with their assigned coaching staff and work on game strategy in a practice-style format.

After some spirited gameplay, everyone will get out of their equipment and head back to their cabins to enjoy another round of camp activities and swimming during free time while our talented kitchen staff prepares an awesome dinner. We all eat together in the timeless dining hall, surrounded by camp history, making memories to last a lifetime while we provide updates on the evening’s tournament matchups and highlight amazing play and sportsmanship that we've witnessed in the previous hours of camp!

After dinner, the boys regroup for a little time in their cabins. Each cabin has two dedicated Cabin Counselors who prioritize their campers’ well-being and provide support throughout all aspects of their camp experience. While our incredible staff is committed to getting to know every camper, it’s amazing to see the positive bonds formed between campers and their assigned Cabin Counselors throughout the week! After a little rest and relaxation, it’s time to get suited up again, put on their game jerseys, and head out to their assigned fields to meet their coaching staff and compete in our evening tournament games!

After the spirited and competitive tournament games are played, the boys head back to their cabins and rotate through the shower houses, which are equipped with individual privacy stalls. Once everyone has freshened up, the entire camp will gather at the historic playhouse/fire circle for our evening camp activity. From our Cabin Scavenger Hunt to Movie Night, Campfire Jams, Glow Game Night, and Glow Capture the Flag, each night is designed to create an unforgettable summer camp experience for the boys!

After a day filled with lacrosse, delicious food, great memories, and nonstop fun, campers and staff return to their cabins for lights out at 9:45 PM, with the expectation that the entire camp is fast asleep by 10:00 PM. It's important for us to support all our campers but especially our younger ones. At WINNILAX, we prioritize rest and comfort, especially for our youngest campers. Bunks are grouped by age, with our youngest campers placed closest to the Nurse’s Infirmary and Senior Staff Cabins—and furthest from evening activity noise. We fully support any camper who prefers to head to bed earlier, ensuring they get the rest they need to thrive each day.

Safety is Our Top Priority! Throughout the night, Directors and Senior Staff conduct scheduled rounds to ensure the well-being of all campers. Each cabin has an assigned counselor sleeping in the first bed by the door, trained and ready to support campers at a moment’s notice. Additionally, a dedicated and actively involved Camp Nurse is on duty 24/7, providing planned support and handling any medical needs that may arise.
